Bread is how we show we care

Hi, I’m the mom behind Feinbäck.

If you had told me years ago that sourdough would become such a big part of my life, I probably would have laughed.

I’m a homeschooling mother of four, and somewhere between feeding my starter and teaching math lessons at the kitchen table, sourdough became a healthy rhythm I looked forward to each day. I began baking for simple reasons: we wanted better bread, we needed healthier options, and we were trying to stretch our budget.

Like most beginners, I faced stubborn starter, unpredictable dough, and plenty of trial and error. But every warm, crackling loaf felt like a quiet reminder that patience and care can create something beautiful.

Over time, this steady rhythm brought calm into our days, improved our health, and created moments of generosity as extra loaves made their way to friends and neighbors.

Feinbäck grew naturally from that place. I wanted tools that made baking feel enjoyable and meaningful, tools that fit into real family life and stood the test of time.

Everything we create reflects that spirit: warm, practical, and made with care. I’m grateful you are here, and I hope our tools become a steady, comforting part of your own baking routine.
